Digital Innovators One-to-One Program
The assignment of laptop computers to sixth-graders will begin the week of September 26th and run through the week of October 10th. Each school will hold an information meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Parent Orientation is mandatory; students will not be allowed to take their laptop home unless a parent has attended an orientation session. If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, please contact your child’s school to schedule a make-up appointment
Laptops will be distributed to sixth-graders at their school following Parent Orientation. Although laptops will be checked out to students, they will not be taken home immediately. They will remain in the classroom until the student has reached a Level 3 digital proficiency. Levels of proficiency and other information will be presented at Parent Orientation.
Chaparral Middle School’s Orientation will be September 26th.
Back Online!
Chaparral’s district website has been going through some technical difficulties for the past month or so. This page, hosted by WordPress, will serve as our permanent website for now.
Welcome Back!
Welcome to another school year at Chaparral Middle School! Have fun, be safe, and remember to do your best!
8th Grade Promotion 2011!
We would like to once again congratulate all of our 8th grade students who were promoted yesterday! We applaud all your hard work and wish you all the very best!
Congratulations Class Of 2015!
Ecosystems!
Mrs. Corwin and Mr. Ramirez’s 7th grade science students displayed their creativity and knowledge of ecosystems by creating their very own 3-D models. Here are a few examples of the awesome projects!
Quick! To the castle!
Mr. Meiners 6th grade social studies class finished off the year by studying The Renaissance period. Students were asked to create their very own castles, which resulted in a wonderful display (a room full!) of our students’ creativity.
